Why do I study theater design?


Hello everyone again today I come to talk about the career I chose as a profession. 

In my childhood, I always dreamed of studying architecture, but as I commented on the previous post, during my adolescence I was very involved with the contemporary circus, which kept me very close to the show itself. However that option always made me doubt, I liked it a lot, but not to dedicate my life to something that depends on my body and that is always prone to injuries. But now I was sure that I liked this area. And time went by and I was increasingly drawn to the stages of the shows I watched, which led me to the theatrical design that turned in my first choice. At one point I was frustrated by my scores to enter which led me to graphic design just because I qualified. But with a little effort, I managed to get into what I wanted. My experience in this has mostly been pleasant, despite the great academic burden it entails.

My favorite Subject

For me, this was my first term online, which has been complex because my degree is based mainly on practical subject, such as technologies, but I was looking for a way to put together all the theory in the field and we hope to put it into practice soon This subject consists mainly of the use of theater implements such as lighting bulbs, consoles to handle these lights, mountable stages, etc. So that semester we saw characteristics of the different bulbs that we can find in theaters so that when we have to design the lights we know which one corresponds to generate the effect we are looking for, but it is still difficult for us to understand without seeing them in person as it should be. I am quite interested in this subject since for me the light in the theater is a very relevant factor that generates atmospheres and completes the design and if we can understand the equipment to generate this light we can reach a better result in our design proposals.

My favorite food

 Today I will talk about a very different topic from those previously mentioned in the other entries: food, who does not like this topic?. I personally love sushi which consists of a rice base that commonly has a seaweed called nori and inside contains a variety of ingredients such as, cream cheese (which is my favorite), mushrooms, palm hearts, fish, shrimp, etc. It can be wrapped in avocado, tempura, sesame, etc. In Chile, We have changed it a lot because it's original from Japan, where it is consumed with raw fish. Here you can still see some places where it is prepared as the original recipe, but it is not the most popular. I like this food a lot for its flavor because I do not find it my daily meal. In the beginning, I did not like sushi but after a few tries, I acquired a taste for it. The only thing wrong with sushi is that’s not good for my nutrition, I only eat it once in a while or on special occasions.

Day whit my friends

Hello everyone again. Today I am here to talk about a great memory, this was not a long time ago, in fact, it happened this year. If I remember this correctly it was during my winter holidays at the end of June. Along whit my neighbors who are also good friends of mine from many years ago, but whit the pandemic we got closer since they were great emotional support for me Together we made the decision to do something different from what we used to and also for all the confinement of that time we wanted to go somewhere whit nature, with this idea on our minds we chose a place to go during the day near Santiago and we arrived at the Parque Natural Aguas de Ramon, which is quite far from Maipú where we live, but we were still willing to go. The day arrived, each one prepared her packed lunch and we left early to make the most of the day.
